Ok, so it’s Monday and Thanksgiving break is creeping up. Well, while you wait here’s a dose of motivation.

Kendrick Lamar – I Love Myself

Superstar athlete Mo’Ne Davis is still the most talked-about player in baseball due to her becoming the first girl to pitch a shutout in the history of the Little League World series. Huh and they say throwing like a girl is bad thing right? Wrong!

Check out the fresh documentary, I Throw Like a Girl, directed by Spike Lee and produced by Spike DDB for Chevrolet, that shares a peek into this teen pitching phenom Mo’ne Davis!

One of our faves is out with new music again and we’re loving his chill love track called “Honestly.”

In the smooth ballad he speaks about how much he needs his girl in his life. He always knows how to get his female fans, right?

The new song is expected to appear on his forthcoming sophomore album.

Loving it? Vibe out.

Can we say addicted?  I mean after a crazy hype summer, it’s  super cool to enjoy  crisp mornings and chill tunes to study to at night, right? There’s so much stress being a student and sometimes you just need to zone out and let your thoughts breathe. I mean not to get too much in my hippy mindset but slowing things down in life definitely allows you to decrease your stress.  Her album is a perfect reminder to remember everything is simply not the end of the world.

Sooooo all of that to say is that we can’t get enough of Jhene Aiko’s new album Souled Out that came out last week. From her new vid “The Pressure” to her laid back live performances; we’re cheering for Jhene to keep doing her thing. It’s fun to turn up but it’s also important not to forget how important love is in life. I’m not just talking about the “love” with your current boo thing but everything- friends, family + even your enemies.

We’re still torn + in shock that such a beautiful spirited + talented individual is no longer with us. Singer + actress Simone Battle, 25, was a member of the innovated girl group G.R.L. and was a X-Factor finalist. The young star recently starred in the hit movie “We The Party” feature on BET.

The young talent reportedly took her own life. Reportedly her depression came from financial issues that she was struggling with in her life.

We are deeply saddened to see this incredibly amazing woman leave so soon. She was a light that her fans + followers could see beaming out of her without having to know her on a personal level. We are sending her family love, light + our prayers.

Always remember we are all struggling with this journey called life and it’s important to be a listening ear and always speak positive words. You never know who you can touch.
